Resource Efficient Scotland

Resource Efficient Scotland is a programme of Zero Waste Scotland. Specialist support is available to help businesses reduce their use of energy, waste and raw materials and associated costs.

Zero Waste Scotland

Zero Waste Scotland exists to create a society where resources are valued and nothing is wasted.

 

Zero Waste Scotland offers funding and support to businesses to improve resource management. Available funding includes:

 

Circular Economy Investment Fund: Grant funding to small and medium sized enterprises who are helping to create a more circular economy.

Bioeconomy Accelerator: Funding opportunity for businesses and organisations working in industrial biotechnology, food and drink, and the wider bioeconomy in Scotland.

Circular Economy Regions - funding opportunity to accelerate the circular economy at a local level in Scotland.

Resource Efficiency Waste Prevention Implementation Fund for SMEs to support the physical implementation of waste prevention measures in the food & drink, construction and other (commercial & industrial) sectors.

The Scottish Recycling Fund (SRF) is a £3.8M fund established by Zero Waste Scotland and Scottish Enterprise to develop or expand materials reprocessing capacity and remanufacturing facilities in Scotland.

Energy Saving Trust

The Energy Saving Trust offers small business loans (interest free) to SMEs wanting to reduce their carbon emissions or reduce their energy and waste costs.
